Boxing Daily Report from the Changchun 2044 Olympic Boxing Championships,  taking place on 13/07/2044 from Changchun, China:

The Changchun venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Round of 32 fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching the broadcast live from around the world, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Etienne Montillet (54(3) - 18(3)) who hails from Anderlecht, Belgium and Banji Sikota(12 - 9(1)) from Ndola, Zambia.  

Round 1: 

Montillet advances into close range.  Montillet sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Montillet lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Montillet holds on to his opponent.  Montillet is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Sikota is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Montillet's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Montillet throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

He then lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND SIKOTA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Sikota now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Montillet lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS SIKOTA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.
