Beltran Hernandez vs Chris Jia

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/08/2044 from San Miguelito, Panama:

The San Miguelito venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Beltran Hernandez (38(6) - 9) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Chris Jia(1 - 5) from Nashville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Hernandez closes the distance.  Hernandez sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Jia connects with a right hook.  
Hernandez lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Jia tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Jia throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Hernandez ties up his opponent.  Jia leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Hernandez pushes his forearm into Jia's face.  The referee warns Hernandez and breaks the clinch.  
Hernandez advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut to Jia's body.  
Hernandez is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Hernandez ties up his opponent.  Hernandez is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Jia is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jia.  
Hernandez is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Hernandez hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Hernandez lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hernandez walks Jia down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hernandez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Hernandez throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hernandez lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hernandez lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Hernandez gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  
Jia throws a right hook, but Hernandez ties up his opponent.  Jia uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hernandez's kidney. The referee warns Jia and breaks the clinch.  
Jia connects with a left hook.  
Hernandez lands a left hook.  
Hernandez steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Hernandez tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Hernandez lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Hernandez ties up his opponent.  Hernandez tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Jia's kidney. Hernandez leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Hernandez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hernandez lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Jia is on target with a left uppercut.  
Hernandez is on target with a left hook to Jia's ribs.  
Jia steps inside.  Hernandez lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Hernandez lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES JIA!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Hernandez!
