Jaguar Peres vs Mike Lucas

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/08/2044 from San Miguelito, Panama:

The San Miguelito venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jaguar Peres (47(4) - 10) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Mike Lucas(2 - 4) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Lucas lands a cross.  
Peres steps inside and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Peres pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Peres advances into close range.  Peres sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Lucas is on target with a right hook to Peres's ribcage.  
Peres cuts off the ring, trapping Lucas on the ropes.  Peres pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Peres drives a solid right uppercut into Lucas's body.  
Peres closes the distance.  Lucas connects with a left hook.  
Lucas tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Lucas pivots to the side of his opponent.  Lucas hits home with a cross.  Lucas attempts to land a jab, but Peres slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Lucas lands a left hook.  
Lucas is on target with a cross to Peres's body.  
Peres lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Peres quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Peres walks Lucas onto the ropes.  Peres pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a potent right hook to his opponents ribcage.  LUCAS IS HURT!  Lucas quickly recovers. 
Peres switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Peres steps inside.  Peres pivots from in front of his opponent.  Peres is on target with a left hook.  Peres throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Peres is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to Lucas's body.  
Lucas lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Peres quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Lucas is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Peres is looking to close the distance and forces Lucas to retreat onto the ropes.  Peres sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Lucas hits home with a right hook.  
Lucas pivots to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a spiteful jab.

Peres advances into close range.  Peres sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Peres lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lucas hits home with a cross.  
Peres lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Lucas manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Peres drives a hurtful cross into Lucas's body.  LUCAS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Lucas steps away from his opponent.  Peres knows Lucas is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Peres lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands two right uppercut's to the body followed by a cross to the head, KNOCKING LUCAS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  It looks like Lucas has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Peres is looking to close the distance.  Peres pivots to the left of his opponent.  Peres hits home with a right hook.  Peres ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Peres pushes his forearm into Lucas's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Peres.  
Peres pivots to the side of his opponent.  Peres throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Peres holds on to his opponent.  Lucas pushes his forearm into Peres's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lucas to stop fouling.  
Peres gets on the inside.  Peres quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Peres strikes his opponents body with a jab.  Peres attempts to land a jab, but Lucas sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Peres forces Lucas to retreat onto the ropes.  Peres sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Lucas throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Peres pivots from in front of his opponent, but Lucas snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Peres lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Peres pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND DROPS LUCAS TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Peres!
