Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/11/2044 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kian Maxton (31 - 4) who hails from Bakersfield, USA and Dom Costain(1 - 2) from Charleston, USA.  

Round 1: 

Maxton lands a cross.  
Maxton switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Costain sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging jab.  
Costain gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  
Maxton lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Costain sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Maxton attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Costain's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Maxton lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Costain steps inside.  Maxton lands a firm left hook.  
Costain closes the distance.  Maxton drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Maxton connects with a left hook.  
Maxton tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a solid cross.  
Costain pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Maxton gets on the inside.  Costain is on target with a right hook to Maxton's body.  Maxton ties up his opponent.  Costain is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maxton tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a solid overhand right.

Costain cuts off the ring, trapping Maxton on the ropes.  Maxton finds the target with a jab.  
Costain pivots to the left of his opponent.  Maxton attempts to land a left hook, but Costain sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Costain pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Costain pivots to the right of his opponent, but Maxton hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Maxton steps inside.  Maxton pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Costain hits home with a cross.

Costain is on target with a stinging jab.  
Maxton is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Maxton ties up his opponent.  Maxton pushes his forearm into Costain's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Maxton about fouling.  
Costain closes the distance.  Maxton hits home with a right hook.  
Costain lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Costain throws a left uppercut, but Maxton ties up his opponent.  Maxton is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
