Richard Philp vs Salvador Basto

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/11/2044 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Richard Philp (56(4) - 6) who hails from Fremont, USA and Salvador Basto(8 - 10(2)) from Brasilia, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Basto tries to keep the action at long range.  Philp hits home with a cross.

Philp quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Basto lands a right hook.  Philp clinches his opponent.  Basto leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Philp gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Basto pivots from in front of his opponent and hits the target with a hard jab.
