Brendan Dingwall vs Robert Ewart

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/11/2044 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brendan Dingwall (88(37) - 4) who hails from Miami, USA and Robert Ewart(1 - 1) from Gainesville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Dingwall lands a stinging right hook.  Dingwall holds on to his opponent.  Dingwall is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Dingwall to stop fouling.

As they grapple, Ewart pushes his forearm into Dingwall's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ewart about fouling.  
Dingwall slams a nasty left hook into his opponents body.  EWART IS HURT!  Ewart almost instantly recovers. 
Ewart sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Dingwall is on target with a solid left hook.  
Dingwall steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Dingwall lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Dingwall advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Dingwall ties up his opponent.  Dingwall is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Dingwall throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Dingwall lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Dingwall is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to Ewart's body.  Dingwall holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Dingwall gets on the inside and connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Dingwall hits home with a left uppercut.  
Dingwall drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Dingwall digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  Dingwall throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Dingwall is on target with a solid left hook to Ewart's body.  
Dingwall walks Ewart onto the ropes.  Dingwall sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Ewart's body.  
Dingwall lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Dingwall lands a solid left hook.  
Dingwall lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Ewart tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Dingwall steps inside.  Ewart throws a left hook, but Dingwall ties up his opponent.  Dingwall leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Dingwall lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Dingwall ties up his opponent.  The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Dingwall to stop holding.  
Dingwall connects with a left hook.  
Dingwall pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into Ewart's body.  
Dingwall pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND EWART IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Dingwall!
