Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/02/2045 from Mexico City, Mexico:

The Mexico City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ricardo Florian (58(2) - 14) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Cortez Tabora(4 - 2) from Tijuana, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Florian digs in a solid left hook to Tabora's body.

Florian steps inside.  Tabora tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tabora quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tabora closes the distance.  Tabora throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Florian's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Tabora walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Tabora pivots to the right of his opponent.  Florian throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Florian ties up his opponent.  Florian leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Florian pushes his forearm into Tabora's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Florian to stop fouling.  
Tabora is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Tabora is looking to close the distance.  Florian lands a sharp left hook.  
Florian is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Tabora now seems to have got his legs back.  
Tabora steps inside.  Florian throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Florian clinches his opponent.  Florian leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Florian switches the action to the outside and lands a firm cross.  
Tabora sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Florian throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Florian clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Tabora pushes his forearm into Florian's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tabora.  
Florian lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Florian lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Florian lands a HUGE cross.  
Tabora advances into close range and manouvers Florian into the corner.  Florian is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Florian lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS TABORA DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Tabora now seems to have got his legs back.  
Tabora sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Florian lands a CRUSHING right uppercut.  TABORA IS DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Florian!
