Ewan Kelso vs Greg Lockhart

Boxing Daily Report from the Canada National Finals 2045,  taking place on 11/03/2045 from Lonueuil, Canada:

The Lonueuil venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ewan Kelso (1 - 6) who hails from Halifax, Canada and Greg Lockhart(8 - 11) from Calgary, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Kelso connects with a solid left uppercut.  Kelso tries to land a right hook, but Lockhart parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lockhart pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Lockhart pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a sharp left uppercut to Kelso's body.  
Lockhart finds the target with a jab.  
Kelso lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Lockhart advances into close range.  Lockhart pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lockhart is looking to close the distance.  Lockhart pivots to the right of his opponent.  Lockhart goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Kelso time to recover.  
Lockhart is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Lockhart lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Lockhart sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kelso tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kelso switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Lockhart is looking to close the distance and walks Kelso into a corner.  Lockhart lands a left hook.  Lockhart ties up his opponent.  Kelso pushes his forearm into Lockhart's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kelso to stop fouling.  
Lockhart lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Lockhart pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lockhart pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kelso is on target with a left hook.  Lockhart holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lockhart pushes his forearm into Kelso's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lockhart hits home with a solid jab.  
Lockhart gets on the inside.  Lockhart pivots to the left of his opponent.  Lockhart drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.  Lockhart clinches his opponent.  Kelso leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Lockhart pushes his forearm into Kelso's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kelso throws a left hook, but Lockhart clinches his opponent.  Lockhart uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Kelso's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lockhart pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging left hook.  
Lockhart drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lockhart's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Lockhart feints a cross, and then hits home with a cross.  
Kelso closes the distance and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Lockhart sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Kelso tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.  
Kelso steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Lockhart digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Kelso switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Lockhart slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Kelso throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a nasty cross.  KELSO IS HURT!  
Kelso advances into close range and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Lockhart thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Kelso away.  Lockhart DETONATES a mean left hook on his opponents face.  KELSO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Kelso now seems to have got his legs back.

Kelso tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a HUGE cross.  KELSO IS DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Lockhart!
