Beltran Hernandez vs Malcolm McCormick

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/03/2045 from San Miguelito, Panama:

The San Miguelito venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Beltran Hernandez (46(12) - 9) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Malcolm McCormick(0 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Hernandez lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Hernandez closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

McCormick tries to land a left uppercut, but Hernandez sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hernandez lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Hernandez lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  McCormick almost instantly recovers. 
McCormick lands a spiteful jab.  
Hernandez is on target with a right uppercut.  
Hernandez lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Hernandez clinches his opponent.  Hernandez is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Hernandez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hernandez lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hernandez steps inside.  McCormick throws a left hook, but Hernandez clinches his opponent.  Hernandez is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Hernandez uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McCormick behind the head. The ref breaks Hernandez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hernandez advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hernandez sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Hernandez is on target with a jab.  
Hernandez steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Hernandez lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Hernandez lands a firm right uppercut.  Hernandez clinches his opponent.  Hernandez is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hernandez attempts to land a jab, but McCormick sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Hernandez crashes a nasty right hook to McCormick's body.  MCCORMICK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hernandez holds on to his opponent.  McCormick is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Hernandez lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Hernandez drives a powerful right uppercut into McCormick's body.  MCCORMICK IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Hernandez hits home with a right hook.
