Jiro Isobe vs Nao Imai

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/03/2045 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jiro Isobe (11 - 5) who hails from Machida, Japan and Nao Imai(2 - 8) from Sapporo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Imai gets on the inside.  Isobe lands a right hook.  
Isobe is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.

Imai is looking to close the distance and manouvers Isobe onto the ropes.  Isobe throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Isobe holds on to his opponent.  Isobe pushes his forearm into Imai's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Isobe digs in a sharp left hook to Imai's body.  
Isobe lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Imai closes the distance and manouvers Isobe into a corner.  Isobe hits home with a right hook.  
Isobe is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Imai steps inside.  Isobe is on target with a left hook.  
Imai lands a left hook.  Isobe holds on to his opponent.  Imai pushes his forearm into Isobe's face.  The referee warns Imai and breaks the clinch.  
Isobe steps to the outside and lands a jab.  
Imai sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Imai throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Isobe is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.

Imai manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Imai hits home with a right hook.  
Imai throws a right uppercut, but Isobe ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Isobe pushes his forearm into Imai's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Isobe.
