Ryuu Wada vs Kenji Yamane

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/03/2045 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ryuu Wada (12 - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Kenji Yamane(5 - 9) from Fukuoka, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Wada lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a cross to the body.  
Wada tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Wada is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Wada sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a hard jab.  
Yamane forces Wada to retreat onto the ropes.  Yamane pivots to the right of his opponent.  Yamane throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Wada is on target with a solid cross.  
Wada lands a jab to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the body.  
Yamane is on target with a jab.  
Yamane sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yamane tries to land a jab, but Wada sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook to Yamane's ribs.  
Yamane pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
Yamane forces Wada to back into a corner.  Wada lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Wada tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Wada tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Yamane circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Wada hits home with a firm cross.

Yamane is looking to close the distance and manages to force Wada onto the ropes.  Yamane quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Yamane tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Yamane pivots to the right of his opponent.  Wada throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Yamane to the neutral corner.  He warns Wada to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.
