Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2045,  taking place on 26/03/2045 from Linden, Guyana:

The Linden venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ethan Prentice (17(3) - 8) who hails from New Amsterdam, Guyana and Ian Peter(14 - 23(1)) from New Amsterdam, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Peter lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Prentice closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Prentice is on target with a left hook.  
Prentice lands a solid jab.  
Prentice lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Prentice closes the distance.  Peter hits home with a left uppercut.  Prentice clinches his opponent.  Prentice pushes his forearm into Peter's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Prentice closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Prentice holds on to his opponent.  Prentice pushes his forearm into Peter's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Prentice.  
Peter pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Peter walks Prentice into the corner.  Peter is on target with a jab.  
Prentice gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Prentice lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Peter sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Peter pivots to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.

Prentice walks Peter down, trapping him in a corner.  Prentice lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Prentice is on target with a HUGE left hook.  PETER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
Prentice lands a left uppercut.  Prentice tries to land a right hook, but Peter blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Prentice is on target with a solid left hook.  
Prentice gets on the inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  Prentice clinches his opponent.  Peter is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Peter about fouling.

Prentice forces Peter to back into the ropes.  Prentice sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

Prentice DETONATES a FEARSOME right hook on his opponents face.  PETER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Prentice!
