Stuart Turk vs Floyd Rhys

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/08/2045 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Stuart Turk (76(2) - 8) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Floyd Rhys(3 - 14) from Memphis, USA.  

Round 1: 

Turk sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Turk tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Rhys steps inside.  Turk lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rhys is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Turk sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.

Rhys attempts to land a right hook, but Turk blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Rhys steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Rhys cuts off the ring, trapping Turk on the ropes.  Turk is on target with a solid left hook.  
Turk tries to step out of his opponents range and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Rhys is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rhys throws a left uppercut, but Turk ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Rhys pushes his forearm into Turk's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rhys about fouling.
