Waqar Hamady vs Lazar Pavlov

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/01/2046 from Al-Quwaysimah, Jordan:

The Al-Quwaysimah venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Waqar Hamady (25(1) - 8) who hails from Amman, Jordan and Lazar Pavlov(8 - 10) from Rostov-on-Don, Russia.  

Round 1: 

Hamady advances into close range.  Hamady pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Hamady pivots to the left of his opponent.  Hamady lands a sharp right hook.  Hamady throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hamady backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Pavlov accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Hamady.

Pavlov throws a right hook, but Hamady holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Pavlov pushes his forearm into Hamady's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hamady's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
