Boxing Daily Report from the Armenia National Finals 2021,  taking place on 11/03/2021 from Yerevan, Armenia:

The Yerevan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Khat Nakhshikyan (18 - 3) who hails from Yerevan, Armenia and Mamigon Jerijian(11 - 4) from Yerevan, Armenia.  

Round 1: 

Nakhshikyan gets on the inside.  Jerijian digs in a left hook to Nakhshikyan's body.  
Jerijian lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Jerijian pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Jerijian sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a hard jab.  
Nakhshikyan steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  Nakhshikyan tries to land a jab, but Jerijian sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Nakhshikyan's liver.  
Jerijian steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Nakhshikyan is on target with a jab.  
Jerijian lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nakhshikyan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Jerijian tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a hard jab.

Nakhshikyan gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Nakhshikyan lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.
