Patrick Lockerby vs Zachary Monahan

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia National Finals 2021,  taking place on 11/03/2021 from Gold Coast, Australia:

The Gold Coast venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Patrick Lockerby (9 - 6) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Zachary Monahan(12 - 8) from Sydney, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Lockerby closes the distance.  Monahan digs in a right hook to his opponents body.

Lockerby stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Monahan throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Monahan steps inside.  Lockerby hits home with a right hook.  
Lockerby lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
