Boxing Daily Report from the Canada National Finals 2021,  taking place on 11/03/2021 from Winnipeg, Canada:

The Winnipeg venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Antwan Lucas (16 - 5) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Ben Blackie(11 - 3) from Edmonton, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Blackie hits home with a stinging cross.

Blackie pivots to the right of his opponent.  Blackie throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Blackie manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Blackie pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.

Blackie pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Lucas switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Lucas is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lucas feints a cross, and then throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Blackie drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Lucas is on target with a cross.

Lucas lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Lucas tries to land a jab, but Blackie sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Lucas tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lucas circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Blackie throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Blackie's body.  
Blackie connects with a cross.  
Lucas contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Blackie finds the target with a jab.  
Lucas lands a left uppercut, jab and a left hook to his opponents head.
