Boxing Daily Report from the Egypt National Finals 2021,  taking place on 11/03/2021 from Cairo, Egypt:

The Cairo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Danyaal Alhaq (7 - 5) who hails from Shubra El-Kheima, Egypt and Danyaal Burkitt(11 - 5) from Shubra El-Kheima, Egypt.  

Round 1:

Alhaq throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Burkitt's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Burkitt is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Burkitt tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Alhaq steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Burkitt gets on the inside and walks Alhaq onto the ropes.  Alhaq lands a right hook.  
Burkitt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

Burkitt closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
