Edmundo Gonzalez vs Juan Pecha

Boxing Daily Report from the Colombia National Finals 2021,  taking place on 14/03/2021 from Medellin, Colombia:

The Medellin venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Edmundo Gonzalez (15 - 8) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Juan Pecha(15 - 5) from Medellin, Colombia.

Pecha steps inside.  Pecha voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Gonzalez is whaling away with hooks, but Pecha keeps his defence tight.  Gonzalez lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Gonzalez throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Gonzalez's body.  
Gonzalez is looking to keep his distance.  Gonzalez sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pecha throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Gonzalez is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Pecha gets on the inside.  Gonzalez digs in a right hook to Pecha's ribcage.  
Gonzalez tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a cross.
