Bryan Bariagher vs James Kwei

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2021,  taking place on 26/03/2021 from Takoradi, Ghana:

The Takoradi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bryan Bariagher (5 - 8) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and James Kwei(15 - 0) from Accra, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Kwei lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bariagher closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bariagher switches the action to the outside.  Kwei tries to land a jab, but Bariagher blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Bariagher forces Kwei to retreat into a corner.  Bariagher throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Bariagher gets on the inside.  Kwei lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bariagher steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.
