Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2021,  taking place on 26/03/2021 from Spanish Town, Jamaica:

The Spanish Town venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Gillmore (8 - 9) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Brin Keddy(12 - 5) from Kingston, Jamaica.

Gillmore attempts to land a left hook, but Keddy sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.

Keddy lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gillmore is on target with a left uppercut.  
Keddy feints a cross, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Keddy goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Gillmore time to recover.  
Gillmore steps away from his opponent.  Gillmore quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gillmore tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Keddy pivots to the side of his opponent, but Gillmore lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Keddy manages to force Gillmore into the corner.  Gillmore lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Keddy lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Keddy ties up his opponent.  Gillmore is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gillmore about fouling.  
Gillmore hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Keddy cuts off the ring, trapping Gillmore in the corner.  Gillmore is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  Keddy clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Keddy pushes his forearm into Gillmore's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
