Raiden Takaki vs Hisao Ueda

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2021,  taking place on 26/03/2021 from Himeji, Japan:

The Himeji venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Raiden Takaki (10 - 4) who hails from Saitama, Japan and Hisao Ueda(16(1) - 4) from Fukuyama, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Takaki gets on the inside.  Takaki pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Takaki advances into close range.  Takaki sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into Ueda's body.  
Ueda advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.  
Ueda is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ueda sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
Takaki is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ueda hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Takaki sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Takaki steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Ueda is looking to close the distance.  Ueda pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ueda throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Takaki time to recover.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Takaki's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Takaki walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Takaki throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Takaki lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ueda gets on the inside.  Ueda sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Takaki lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.
