Dai Raitt vs Jonathan Biven

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2021,  taking place on 29/03/2021 from Spanish Town, Jamaica:

The Spanish Town venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dai Raitt (12 - 7) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Jonathan Biven(22(1) - 2) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Biven is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Biven tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Biven closes the distance and walks his opponent into a corner.  Biven hits home with a right uppercut.  
Biven lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Biven pivots to the left of his opponent.  Raitt attempts to land a left hook, but Biven slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Raitt finds the target with a hard jab.  
Biven steps inside.  Biven sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Raitt digs in a left uppercut to Biven's body.

Raitt sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a ramrod jab.

Raitt switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Biven sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Raitt's ribs.
