Naeem Lugano vs Veltry Chelangat

Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2021,  taking place on 29/03/2021 from Machakos, Kenya:

The Machakos venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Naeem Lugano (15 - 8) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Veltry Chelangat(14(3) - 10) from Nairobi, Kenya.  

Round 1: 

Chelangat is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to Lugano's body.  
Lugano is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lugano sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Chelangat lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Chelangat tries to land a cross, but Lugano blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.
