Alano Gamon vs Vidal Rascon

Boxing Daily Report from the Nicaragua National Finals 2021,  taking place on 11/04/2021 from Managua, Nicaragua:

The Managua venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alano Gamon (12 - 8) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Vidal Rascon(9 - 9) from Tipitapa, Nicaragua.  

Round 1: 

Rascon gets on the inside.  Rascon pivots to the left of his opponent.  Gamon tries to land a left hook, but Rascon slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rascon lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rascon closes the distance.  Gamon tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rascon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Gamon connects with a left hook.

Rascon hits home with a firm cross.

Rascon manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Rascon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into Gamon's body.  
Rascon pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook to Gamon's ribcage.  
Rascon is looking to close the distance and lands a solid right hook.  Rascon tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gamon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Rascon finds the target with a jab.  
Rascon is on target with a jab.  
Rascon pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Rascon digs in a left uppercut to Gamon's body.

Gamon pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gamon lands a jab.  Gamon throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Gamon steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
Gamon switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left.  
Rascon is on target with a cross.  
Gamon is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Gamon feints a right hook, but Rascon ignores the feint and responds with a right uppercut to Gamon's body.
