Aimon De la Torre vs Bronco Merlos

Boxing Daily Report from the Mexico National Finals 2021,  taking place on 14/04/2021 from Tonala, Mexico:

The Tonala venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Aimon De la Torre (20 - 2) who hails from Ecatepec, Mexico and Bronco Merlos(15 - 1) from Tijuana, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

De la Torre gets on the inside and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Merlos sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

De la Torre quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Merlos lands with a solid jab.  
De la Torre is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Merlos's body.
