Billy Blaine vs David Kelley

Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2021,  taking place on 14/04/2021 from Waitakere, New Zealand:

The Waitakere venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Billy Blaine (19 - 5) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and David Kelley(21 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  

Round 1: 

Kelley steps inside.  Kelley sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Blaine is on target with a right uppercut.

Kelley feints a jab, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Blaine steps to the outside and connects with a stinging overhand left.  
Kelley digs in a right uppercut to Blaine's ribcage.  
Blaine steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Kelley sidesteps and counters with a cross.
