Boxing Daily Report from the Puerto Rico National Finals 2021,  taking place on 14/04/2021 from Carolina, Puerto Rico:

The Carolina venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jose Nieves (17 - 3) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Xeres Almanzar(12 - 3) from Carolina, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Almanzar drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Nieves is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Almanzar sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.

Nieves lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Nieves lands a stiff jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Nieves's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.  Almanzar's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
