Alec Bilumbu vs Kieran Lakay

Boxing Daily Report from the South Africa National Finals 2021,  taking place on 26/04/2021 from Randburg, South Africa:

The Randburg venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alec Bilumbu (14 - 9) who hails from Umlazi, South Africa and Kieran Lakay(9 - 6) from Tembisa, South Africa.

Lakay is looking to close the distance.  Bilumbu lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lakay closes the distance and forces Bilumbu to retreat into a corner.  Lakay connects with a right hook.  
Lakay gets on the inside.  Lakay sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Bilumbu connects with a left hook.  
Bilumbu steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Lakay lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Lakay is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Bilumbu finds the target with a jab.
