Boxing Daily Report from the Uganda National Finals 2021,  taking place on 26/04/2021 from Kampala, Uganda:

The Kampala venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Semwanga (9 - 12) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Roshaun Msuya(15 - 6) from Kampala, Uganda.  

Round 1: 

Msuya is looking to close the distance.  Semwanga lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Semwanga steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Msuya is looking to close the distance.  Semwanga lands a firm left uppercut.  Semwanga goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Msuya's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Msuya closes the distance.  Msuya pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Semwanga's body.  
Msuya throws a right uppercut, but Semwanga clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Msuya pushes his forearm into Semwanga's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Msuya to stop fouling.  
Semwanga is looking to keep his distance and lands a solid jab.  
Semwanga switches the action to the outside.  Msuya throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
