Boxing Daily Report from the Yemen National Finals 2021,  taking place on 26/04/2021 from Al Hudaydah, Yemen:

The Al Hudaydah venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Farhan Abdelrahman (9 - 6) who hails from Aden, Yemen and Khalid Khawaja(17(1) - 7) from Sana'a, Yemen.  

Round 1: 

Khawaja gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
Khawaja steps inside.  Abdelrahman lands a sharp left hook.

Khawaja sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.

Khawaja advances into close range.  Abdelrahman throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Khawaja's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
