Boxing Daily Report from the South Korea National Finals 2021,  taking place on 29/04/2021 from Daegu, South Korea:

The Daegu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chang-woo Roh (12 - 9) who hails from Incheon, South Korea and Keun-ho Bak(21 - 3) from Ulsan, South Korea.  

Round 1: 

Roh tries to land a cross, but Bak sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.

Roh pivots to the left of his opponent, but Bak finds the target with a jab.  
Bak lands a jab to Roh's body.  
Roh drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Bak steps inside and connects with a solid right hook.

Bak steps inside and tries to land a left uppercut, but Roh sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bak gets on the inside and walks Roh into the blue corner.  Bak hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Bak closes the distance.  Roh hits home with a right hook.  
Roh hits home with a right uppercut.  
Roh voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Bak steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Roh steps away from his opponent.  Bak hits home with an overhand right.  
Bak hits home with a cross.  
Bak closes the distance.  Roh throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Bak lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Bak advances into close range.  Roh connects with a right hook.  
Roh tries to step out of his opponents range.  Bak quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Bak attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Roh's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Roh's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!  Bak's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
