Angel Alvares vs Nicandro Barroso

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Amazonas promoted show at Alano Rapoza Gym, Manaus,  taking place on 18/07/2025:

Clearly AI Brazil-Amazonas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Amazonas Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Alvares (5 - 5 - 3) who hails from Manaus, Brazil and Nicandro Barroso(3 - 2) from Manaus, Brazil.  Alvares weighed in at 135 pounds, while Barroso weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Gularte, and the three ringside judges are Xalvador Pedrosa, Kiki Lago and Aimon Vala.  

Round 1:
