Kook-young Ko vs Jeong-hyeop Ku

Boxing Daily Report from the Asabigi Promotions promoted show at North Chungcheong Gym, Cheongju,  taking place on 30/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the South Korea-South Gyeongsang Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kook-young Ko (16 - 0) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Jeong-hyeop Ku(3 - 3) from Changwon, South Korea.  Both Ko and Ku weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Woo-young Soh, and the three ringside judges are Tae-hee Chai, Se-jong Chew and Min-woo Kye.  

Round 1:
