Kong Jow vs Alan McCadden

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 08/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Kong Jow (10(2) - 0 - 1) who hails from Kunming, China and Alan McCadden(8(1) - 3) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Jow and McCadden weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aftab Bilal, and the three ringside judges are Robert Llewellyn, Bart McPhee and Cody Biggs.  

Round 1: 

Jow is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Jow sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
McCadden closes the distance.  Jow lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

McCadden throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.
