Boxing Daily Report from the Kaamba Promotions promoted show at James Speir Gym, New Haven,  taking place on 04/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey Blaney (10 - 2 - 1) who hails from New Haven, USA and Tobias Smylie(10 - 5 - 1) from Bridgeport, USA.  Blaney weighed in at 199 pounds and 15 ounces, while Smylie weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gus Phemister, and the three ringside judges are John Hilton, Paul Muncie and Gus Phemister.
