Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Santiago promoted show at Handila Gym, Santiago de los Caballeros,  taking place on 18/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santiago Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jair Gimenez (9 - 2(1)) who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic and Antonio Meraz(7 - 6(2) - 2) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Both Gimenez and Meraz weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quin Salido, and the three ringside judges are Rogelio Coca, Frisco Valle and Jeraldo Aristizabal.
