Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 20/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the East Asian Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jun Nomura (11(2) - 2) who hails from Takatsuki, Japan and Tae-hee Chong(13 - 3) from Cheongju, South Korea.  Nomura weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces, while Chong weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hikaru Onaga, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Nakamura, Isamu Okimoto and Daichi Noda.
