Ethan Callacghan vs Niall MacConnell

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Munster promoted show at Peter Lynch Gym, Limerick,  taking place on 22/07/2025:

Clearly AI Ireland-Munster have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Munster Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ethan Callacghan (8 - 9 - 1) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Niall MacConnell(6 - 9 - 1) from Waterford, Ireland.  Both Callacghan and MacConnell weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Donnelly, and the three ringside judges are Eoghan Healey, Patrick Hannigan and Joshua Fylan.  

Round 1: 

Callacghan attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives MacConnell time to recover.
