Gianluigi Poli vs Dante Frassinetti

Boxing Daily Report from the Owusu Promotions promoted show at Rome Mantovano, Rome,  taking place on 22/07/2025:

Clearly Owusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Lazio Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianluigi Poli (8 - 2) who hails from Rome, Italy and Dante Frassinetti(12 - 6 - 4) from Rome, Italy.  Poli weighed in at 135 pounds, while Frassinetti weighed in at 134 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Adriano Picciano, and the three ringside judges are Gianmarco Adriano, Carlo Cocca and Vicenzo Alemanno.  

Round 1: 

Poli is looking to keep his distance.  Frassinetti hits home with an overhand right.
