Savio Grillini vs Vito Truffi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Sicily promoted show at Gianluigi Cingari Gym, Palermo,  taking place on 22/07/2025:

Clearly AI Italy-Sicily have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Savio Grillini (2 - 12 - 2) who hails from Palermo, Italy and Vito Truffi(9 - 4 - 1) from Catania, Italy.  Both Grillini and Truffi weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francesco Basini, and the three ringside judges are Roberto Riva, Colombo Masotti and Rocco Galati.  

Round 1: 

Truffi steps inside.  Truffi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Truffi connects with a left hook.  Truffi attempts to land a left uppercut, but Grillini blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Grillini tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left.  
Truffi hits home with a left hook.
