Nwa Nkrumah vs Zaid Afrani

Boxing Daily Report from the Selasee Promotions promoted show at Accra Boakye, Accra,  taking place on 20/08/2025:

Clearly Selasee Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nwa Nkrumah (9 - 5(1) - 2) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Zaid Afrani(9 - 4 - 4) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Nkrumah and Afrani weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gregor Bedwei, and the three ringside judges are Neil Sribor, Greg Quatey and Sammy Bamfokwakye.
