Robert Kpegah vs Leon Adusei

Boxing Daily Report from the Quansah Promotions promoted show at Dom Addo Gym, Accra,  taking place on 20/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Kpegah (13 - 4 - 1) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Leon Adusei(7 - 6 - 4) from Accra, Ghana.  Kpegah weighed in at 174 pounds and 6 ounces, while Adusei weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noel Koranteng, and the three ringside judges are Nabulung Berko, Aaron Adams and Chris Asante.

Kpegah attempts to land a right hook, but Adusei blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kpegah quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Adusei hits home with a right uppercut.  
Kpegah pivots to the right of his opponent andKpegah wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Adusei.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Kpegah hits home with a cross.
