Gervasio Mirando vs Juan Puentes

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Guayas promoted show at Guayaquil Huerta, Guayaquil,  taking place on 16/08/2025:

Clearly AI Ecuador-Guayas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Gervasio Mirando (2(2) - 1) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Juan Puentes(1 - 4) from Portoviejo, Ecuador.  Both Mirando and Puentes weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Mejia, and the three ringside judges are Roman Parrilla, Roman Parrilla and Zacarias Urdiales.
