Diego Cortez vs Mike Hislop

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-California promoted show at Oakland Muir, Oakland,  taking place on 21/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Pacific Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Cortez (10 - 6) who hails from San Diego, USA and Mike Hislop(10 - 9 - 1) from Los Angeles, USA.  Cortez weighed in at 200 pounds, while Hislop weighed in at 199 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Gaddie, and the three ringside judges are Stuart Purcell, Bradley Eade and Fraser Lesley.

Cortez lands a left hook.
