Yutaka Endo vs Akira Nakamura

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 20/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yutaka Endo (8 - 10 - 2) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Akira Nakamura(9 - 11 - 3) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Endo and Nakamura weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Taro Jo, and the three ringside judges are Isamu Tano, Raiden Shimamoto and Kenji Matsushima.  

Round 1: 

Nakamura manouvers Endo onto the ropes.  Nakamura lands a right hook.  
Nakamura connects with a left hook.  
Nakamura quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Endo tries to land a cross, but Nakamura slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Endo's ribs.  
Endo is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Endo gets on the inside.  Nakamura throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Nakamura ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nakamura drives a left hook into Endo's liver.
