An Ung vs Kyo Imai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Hachioji City Art & Cultural Hall, Hachioji,  taking place on 14/08/2025:

Clearly AI Japan-Tokyo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are An Ung (2 - 0) who hails from Qingdao, China and Kyo Imai(0 - 0) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Ung and Imai weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hikaru Mikami, and the three ringside judges are Dai Ishikawa, Takeo Kibe and Kaede Tsuchida.  

Round 1:

Ung steps inside.  Imai wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ung dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Imai gets on the inside.  Ung hits home with a right hook.  
Ung switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Imai is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.
