Deion Tshwete vs Ubanwa Awere

Boxing Daily Report from the Eghenyan Promotions promoted show at Sam Naude Gym, iBhayi,  taking place on 22/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Eastern Cape Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Deion Tshwete (8 - 0 - 1) who hails from iBhayi, South Africa and Ubanwa Awere(3 - 0) from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  Tshwete weighed in at 167 pounds and 4 ounces, while Awere weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arnie Verster, and the three ringside judges are Mason Baramoto, Rob Tshiepela and Deion Nsoh.
