Hajime Kawahara vs Nori Kitagawa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Rich Stadium, Himeji,  taking place on 23/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Hyogo Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Kawahara (12 - 1) who hails from Kobe, Japan and Nori Kitagawa(5 - 2 - 3) from Akashi, Japan.  Both Kawahara and Kitagawa weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiro Noda, and the three ringside judges are Iwao Sumida, Hisoka Iida and Kazuhiko Hayashi.
