Chigozie Barda vs Ike Banjo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Oyo State promoted show at Ibadan Badeh, Ibadan,  taking place on 23/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Oyo State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chigozie Barda (15 - 0 - 1) who hails from Ibadan, Nigeria and Ike Banjo(8 - 2 - 5) from Ibadan, Nigeria.  Both Barda and Banjo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ifeanyi Dosunmu, and the three ringside judges are Juwon Ogunro, Elderson Bunu and Jay-Jay Njoku.
